First Financial Services, a financial advisory firm based in Little Rock, Arkansas, is celebrating 30 years serving clients across the state and is rebranding of the firm to represent its growth and success.
Thomas Sanders, the firm’s founder and president, credits much of First Financial Services’ success to offering a host of financial services all under one roof. “We are a team of expert financial partners who together help you navigate the intricacies and complexities of building and managing wealth. That includes everything from financial planning to investment strategy, insurance and retirement planning, estate planning, money management and lifestyle planning,” he said.
The firm has also earned respect because of the high caliber of its advisors, Sanders said. “Our team of sophisticated planners has a deep and broad background in building wealth; each advisor has more than 25 years of industry experience, some with deep, institutional backgrounds.”
One of those advisors is Steve Sanders, Tom Sanders’ son and president of the company. Steve Sanders joined First Financial Services in 2012 after an impressive 15-year career as a senior stock analyst/managing director at Stephens Inc.
Steve Sanders said several years ago the company expanded into Northwest Arkansas to better serve clients. “That was natural, since we were attracting many new clients from that area. “We truly are recognized for our comprehensive financial planning, and through educational seminars and word-of-mouth, we have added many clients throughout the state and really, the region,” he said.
The company excels at creating plans that are unique to each client, Steve Sanders said. “In our 30 years, First Financial has yet to see two clients who need the same plan or services. To celebrates its three decades in the industry, the company has rebranded and launched a new website. Steve Sanders said the company’s fresh look reflects a renewed energy to serve in the financial advisory arena. “We are living through an uncertain time where more people than ever are realizing what is important in life, and for many, that’s taking care of their families and futures. Steve Sanders said the company’s new logo – a door – is a nod to the firm opening “financial doors” for its clients. He said the team worked hard on the development of its mission statement which is, “First Financial opens doors to life’s opportunities by actively listening to clients’ stories, collaborating to craft personalized financial plans and strategically managing assets for a lifetime.
“The mission statement is new, but it reflects how we have operated as a team since day one – when Dad founded the firm in 1991. And because our portfolio managers have decades of institutional experience on Wall Street and our insurance experts are known throughout the U.S., we have added the tagline, ‘We bring Wall Street to your street,’” he said.
